About Us
Philosophy and Goals
Kiddie Kove provides a safe, nurturing, secure and loving environment which includes a respect for cultural diversity. When you are participating in our program, we will strive to foster a strong partnership between home and school, which will benefit your child’s growth and development.
Our goal is to provide excellence in childcare and to provide activities to enhance the social, emotional, cognitive, creative and physical needs of children. Kiddie Kove adheres to developmentally appropriate practices. This maximizes children’s opportunities to make choices (thus empowering children and fostering their self esteem), emphasizes learning through play and encourages exploration. Our program is designed to provide a foundation for your child’s success in later school years by allowing children to feel successful in their early years.
Our Dedicated Staff
We are proud to have an excellent team of child development professionals that are responsible and caring and have a deep commitment to each child. They have had the required training in CPR, First Aid, Communicable Disease, and Child Abuse. Our teachers and staff strive daily to give you child quality care, creative learning, and fun.
Our Commitment to Safety
Of course, the health and safety of your child is of utmost importance to Kiddie Kove. Once your child is in our facility, we have video monitoring to ensure your child is in a safe and nurturing environment.
We make all necessary precautions, with providing a clean and healthy environment for your child. We follow all local guidelines and provide daily and on spot cleanings to your child’s spaces.
Nutrition
Children are served a healthy breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snack. Kiddie Kove has all meals catered and served by MAK Catering services. MAK provides a balanced and varied diet that meets the requirements of the USDA Food program as well as state licensing requirements.
For the purpose of a special diet, the center will secure written and assigned instructions from parents when the special diet is due to religious restrictions and written and signed instructions from parents and physician when special diet is due to other reasons.
Creative Curriculum
Children learn best when their interest is captured and they are having fun. Our creative curriculum is child led, teacher guided learning through play. The teacher’s role is to create and stimulate the natural curiosity of the children and to provide the variety of materials, people, and experiences required to meet the needs of children individually. Children are encouraged to listen, speak, touch, take apart, put together, mold, paint, and compute through a range of activities which enables them to feel successful.
